2008 IBA Management Conference
The 2008 IBA Management Conference offers two days of networking and educational opportunities designed to help you succeed in today’s increasingly competitive bank environment. The conference includes sessions on strategic planning, technology, the economy, staff compensation and more.
Plan to attend February 6-7, 2008 at Embassy Suites on the River in Des Moines. The first day will feature the IBA and IBIS annual meeting, a review of the past year. Membership input is encouraged. Conference registration is not required to attend.
The Legislative Reception will be February 6, from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Come to network with your legislators and to discuss issues of concern regarding your bank and community. We ask that you extend a personal invitation to your legislators.

2008 IRA Essentials & Beyond the Essentials
The IBA will offer several IRA seminars designed to educate those new to IRAs as well as experienced bankers.
IRA Essentials offers a learning experience for individuals who are new to IRAs and for those looking for a general IRA refresher. Attend any of the three sessions: February 26 in Storm Lake, February 27 in Johnston or February 28 in Cedar Rapids.
2008 Beyond the Essentials: Moving IRA Assets provides detailed information on complex IRA portability issues. Individuals attending this seminar will learn more than just the basics of moving IRA assets.
