Credit Scoring Web Seminar

Learn the purpose, limits and proper use of credit bureau scores and how to integrate credit scoring into your overall credit policy
Are you using credit scoring as part of your consumer underwriting at your bank? This seminar explains the purpose, limitations and structure of credit bureau scores. During the course of the program, we will fully explore the proper use of credit scoring as a tool to support the extension of consumer credit. We will examine the structure of Fair Isaac’s scoring model along with a discussion of risk factors and exceptions, keeping in mind that each lender must validate his or her own use of the credit model.
Bank Directors Seminar
The Iowa Bankers Association will host the 2007 Bank Directors Seminar on June 26 in Cedar Rapids and on June 27 in West Des Moines. This one day program is designed to assist bank directors and executive management with carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
The primary focus of this session is on the “how” of being a good bank director. Regulators are increasingly holding directors responsible for the safety, soundness and performance of the bank. The seminar will be led by David Kemp, founder and president of Bankers Management, Inc., a financial management consulting and training firm in Atlanta, GA.
