No-Nonsense Strategic Planning For Community Banks Online Seminar
September 5 • 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Gather your Board &/or Senior Management team and review, revise or update your Bank’s Strategic Plan!
“Are we doing the right things?” As CEO, how many times have you asked yourself that question? Increasingly, even the best community bank CEO’s are wondering: “How does one decide what our bank’s most significant opportunities are, given the myriad of options available?”
This seminar focuses on how community banks of all sizes can refine and implement meaningful strategic thinking that enhances the bottom line and solidifies a renewed commitment to employees, shareholders and community. The content is highly practical, providing “how-to” techniques that can be readily implemented.
This one-session format is designed so that your executive team, senior management, board of directors and others involved in the strategic planning process at the organization can all participate in the program. Participants should definitely include the President & CEO.
Cash Flow Analysis Seminar
This new seminar has been created to help lenders understand cash flow analysis at a more useful and meaningful level. Scheduled for October 11, 2007 at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Johnston, the seminar will be presented by Bob Ullom. This program extends from prior seminars on financial statement analysis with the goal of further developing each participant’s cash flow analysis.
This program is designed to appeal to “real world” loan officers, credit analysts or any banker involved in commercial lending. Cash flow is not a new topic but it certainly is a “hot topic” as both bankers and regulators enhance their focus on the borrower’s demonstrated capacity to repay.

Construction Lending Seminar
Construction lending is a profitable and productive use of bank investable funds. This new seminar has been designed to help prudent bankers keep their focus on risk management aspects of construction lending. A primary element of construction loan risk management is understanding that so much of your bank’s construction risk depends on the performance and behavior of others outside your direct control, but not outside your risk management capability.
This seminar will be held on October 10, 2007 at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Johnston. Bob Ullom will be the presenter.
Essential elements of sound construction lending will be discussed to help lenders and support staff more fully develop their understanding and capacity.
