Make Credit Education Plans for Your Community and Your Bank – Teach Children to Save is April 29, 2008.
This event occurs every April when bankers make presentations to students in grades K-12 about budgeting, saving, recognizing needs and wants and how interest makes money grow. Since the first National Teach Children to Save Day, nearly 46,750 bankers like you have made 60,189 presentations and reached nearly 2.3 million children and teens across the country, providing them with money skills they'll use throughout life. Do your part and help your community by visiting a classroom, church group or youth group and sharing savings lessons. Please contact the IBA’s Cheryl Miller at 1-800-532-1423 or cmiller@iowabankers.com or Click here for more information about this program.
