While multi-tiered businesses are not strictly limited to LLC, the LLC lends itself to complex arrangements involving trusts, estates, businesses, and people. We will look at the difference between “dba” on a business (where there is more than one business operating in an account) and the single-member LLC (where another business is the owner).
