Frantz Makes Dreams Come True in Banking
Brittany Frantz, small business banker at CBI Bank & Trust, highly recommends a career in banking. When looking back on your banking career, what achievement are you most proud of and why?
In my short time as a banker, I’m proud of the gains I have made in the banking industry. A career in commercial lending allows me to help people make their business’s dreams come true.

Anyone looking at a career in banking should go for it. There are many different roles in the banking industry where someone may find their niche. Banking allows you to gain valuable business skills that can be beneficial in many aspects of life.

How does getting involved with the Iowa Bankers Association help you and your bank?
The IBA has helped expand my knowledge a tremendous amount with the many great classes and trainings they offer. In addition, the IBA offers valuable networking opportunities to collaborate with other bankers. The IBA continues to be a key factor in my ongoing growth as a lender.
When you’re not at work, what do you like to do most?
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to local farmers markets, and being outside when it’s nice out.
