Parkhurst Equips Clients With Confidence
Whether she’s running a 100-mile race or guiding clients with financial strategy, Heidi Parkhurst isn’t one to shy away from a challenge. Parkhurst is the Bank of America Iowa president and an IBA board member, and she provides perspective and education to help clients stay calm, informed and confident when it matters most. Outside of work, you’ll find her enjoying the outdoors and training for her next endurance race. 
What’s something about your role people might not expect?
A big part of my role is helping clients stay calm and confident during uncertain markets. It’s as much about listening and education as it is about financial strategy.
what’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever received?
To choose growth over fear.
What’s an event or iowa tradition you look forward to every year?
The Bix 7 Road Race is a favorite. It’s a great Iowa tradition with incredible energy, and it always reminds me why I love running.
what’s an interesting or lesser-known fact about you?
I completed a 100-mile run last year, which was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve taken on.
What do you do outside of work to recharge?
I enjoy running and endurance training, including Ironman events. Spending time outdoors and setting physical goals helps me reset and stay focused.
