An upcoming seminar from the Iowa Bankers Association will provide the tools and knowledge needed to assist institutions in creating and maintaining a comprehensive information security program to protect their critical infrastructure.

The IBA Cybersecurity Seminar will be Aug. 3 in Cedar Rapids and Aug. 4 in West Des Moines. The interactive seminar is designed to provide education on emerging cybersecurity threats and share best practices to prevent, detect and respond to those threats. Attendees will also learn about the components institutions should have in place for an information security program to pass regulatory scrutiny. It will cover:
