The Iowa Bankers Association and its affiliates — Iowa Bankers Insurance & Services, Inc., Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation, Mid America Banking Insurance Services and Iowa Midwest Insurance Company — officially opened their new headquarters at 8901 Northpark Drive in Johnston.

The new 60,000-square-foot facility provides adequate room for staff and enhanced meeting facilities for IBA members, customers and guests. That includes a larger training room for on-site educational seminars with the latest technology for presentations.

The new facility became necessary due to growth in mortgage, insurance and regulatory services in recent years. IBA affiliates now serve banks in Iowa and surrounding states. Adequate space was needed to house 220 staff members and the hundreds of bankers who frequent IBA offices for training, peer group meetings and IBA volunteer events. The new facility will enable even greater member service and convenience, while providing quality space for meetings, receptions and political functions.
