The Financial Aid/FAFSA Certification Professional Development Series Sponsored by IBA is designed specifically for Iowa banks, providing the tools they need to play a critical role in helping families unerstand college costs and, more importantly, develop strategies to pay for them. The half-day training starts with understanding basic financial aid terminology and progresses into easy-to-understand segments. Each segment will feature hands-on activities as well as group discussion.

Following the training, participants will complete an assessment to demonstrate mastery. Those passing the assessment will be designated as “ICAN Certified” for the twelve-month period following.
