The second in the webinar series will provide details about crop insurance and helping your ag customers make better decisions. This session will reveiw the basics of insurance and then explore strategies and various products farmers can use to manage risk.

• Comparing Crop Insurance Strategies & Tools

Presenter
Steve Johnson is a retired Farm Management Specialist with ISU Extension. His areas of expertise include crop marketing, grain contracts, government farm programs, crop insurance, farmland leasing and other crop risk management strategies. Johnson is a frequent presenter at ag events, including the IBA Ag Bankers Conference. Johnson will be presenting at the 2023 IBA Ag Bankers Conference (March 20-21) to expand on these ideas and provide a crop marketing outlook for the coming year.
